Purpose of collecting data

Lichen Glen publishing follows the new Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) came into force on the 25th May 2018 regarding the retention of personal data and its use.

We currently only collect contact information if you contact us, and retain no other data.  However, we will not divulge the information to any third party or use it for the purposes of issuing general marketing information; if we had it, which we don't. As the new regulations now require the recipient to ‘opt-in’ in order to receive these, if we did, but we don't.

The author and illustrator have their own personal social media accounts which they use to inform, communicate and chat on a one to one basis as per those platforms policies, all of which are opt-in applications. We therefore strongly suggest that you ensure you are registered on all of these if you wish to continue the chat, communication or discourse with them.

When we do we will ask people to sign up to at the top of the page and register to receive information only, so you will not miss important news items, if we have them.

Should you require any additional information or assistance, please email us at lichenglen@protonmail.com or use the contact form.

General Data Protection Policy Statement: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces all EU directive (95/46/EC). This regulation strengthens local European legislation for Data Protection and aligns regulators under one authority.
