Lichen Glen has produced, and is producing, a range of creative writing publications for both adults and children, and adults who still nurture their inner child.
The illustrated books are one complete poem, an adventure in rhyme, and the series of books form one complete rhyming work.
Amanda’s fantastic artwork brings layers of depth to the story telling. Gives emotional life to the characters and provides visual intrigue to the inquisitive eye. It’s an on old fashioned saga story, but without vikings.
The short form poetry books follow traditional forms of verse: Haiku, Senryu, Cinquains and the odd sonnet. There are also small bursts of free form verse as well. Most are themed around the environment, observation, current events. Some are emotional abstractions.
